Rock Island County Fair
The Rock Island County Fair Association is 501(c)(3) Organization who hosts a multitude of events throughout the year and of course, The Rock Island County Fair!
The fairgrounds roar to life with events that keep engines hot and crowds cheering. From heart-pounding stock-car races to fast-paced ATV races, there’s always speed and excitement on the track. Fans pack the stands for the thunder of truck and tractor pulls, where raw power and horsepower collide. And nothing gets the crowd louder than the demolition derby, with cars crashing, metal twisting, and drivers pushing to be the last one rolling.
Every event delivers the thrill of competition, the sound of engines, and the rush of adrenaline. RICO Fair isn’t just about rides and food—it’s where motorsport takes center stage and brings the community together for unforgettable nights of racing and rivalry.

How much is admission to the fairgrounds?
Admission to the fairgrounds is free for all ages throughout fair week until 8:00 PM when a $5 entry fee begins.
When does the fairgrounds open?
The fairgrounds are open starting at 8:00 AM each day July 15-19. Plan your week at the fair with daily schedules: https://www.rockislandfair.org/schedule.
Is there free parking?
Free parking is available through Gate 5 on the north end of the fairgrounds off Frontage Rd. Download a map here: https://www.rockislandfair.org/schedule
What are the carnival hours and cost?
The carnival opens at 5:00 PM Tuesday-Friday and at 12:00 PM on Saturday.
$30 Unlimited Ride Wristbands are available on Wednesday, July 16 from 5:00-9:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19 from 12:00-4:00 PM.
Otherwise, carnival tickets are $1.25 each, or $20 for 20 tickets.
Each ride takes an average of 3-5 tickets
