Experience the thrill of competitive driving at the 2025 Autocross #8 - Fun Event MirrorCross, hosted by SCCA - Southern Indiana Region at the MAAC-Mid-American Air Center-AX in Lawrenceville, IL. This unique autocross event promises a day filled with excitement and friendly competition.
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, gear up for a day of autocross action unlike any other. The event kicks off with a course setup where all participants will have the opportunity to complete 4 timed laps. Following this, the course will be reset for a heads-up competition. In the Challenge rounds, drivers can select opponents and negotiate handicaps for a fair showdown. Winners earn bragging rights and help fine-tune the handicapping system.
Additionally, the event features elimination rounds where the slowest competitors face off, with the victor advancing to challenge the next slowest car. The day's schedule includes various activities such as course timing equipment setup, tech inspection, driver meetings, and more. Participants are required to arrive between 9:00 am and 9:30 am for a smooth start to the event.
Registration for the 2025 Autocross #8 - Fun Event MirrorCross ends on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 PM UTC. Costs vary based on membership status, with prices ranging from $27 for SCCA Student Members to $57 for non-members, which includes an SCCA Weekend membership. Online registration is mandatory, with no on-site sign-ups available.
All drivers must adhere to event requirements, including having an annual waiver or utilizing the SpeedWaiver process. SIR SCCA members without an annual waiver will incur a $5 fee. Participants are also required to work, alternating between driving and assisting with event operations.
