State Championship/Pro-Am/Ch4se Challenge
Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled weekend at Sunset Ridge MX as they host the highly anticipated State Championship/Pro-Am/Ch4se Challenge on September 27th and 28th, 2025. This thrilling event is a must-attend for all motorcycle racing enthusiasts looking for heart-pounding action and fierce competition.
On Saturday, September 27th, registration will take place onsite, so make sure you arrive early to secure your spot. Complete your 2025 Online Annual Waiver beforehand to streamline the process. Sunday, September 28th, marks the main event with online registration opening soon. Don't miss the chance to showcase your skills and compete against top riders in this prestigious competition.
For practice day on Saturday and race day on Sunday, all participants must adhere to registration and waiver requirements. Minor spectators must have at least one parent present at all times and have completed the Sunset Ridge MX Annual Waiver for 2025. Ensure minors arriving without a parent have a completed/notarized Guardian Transfer Form in addition to the online waiver.
Membership is essential for all AMA Sanctioned events, with an annual fee of $49. District 17 membership is mandatory for Illinois residents participating in the race. Live timing and scoring will be provided by Laptimes USA, with transponders available for rental at the track.
Gate fees cover the entire weekend, with camping available for an additional $20 per vehicle upon arrival. Friday practice, Saturday, and Sunday gate fees vary, with discounts for children under 4. Partial refunds are available if you need to leave early, so you can enjoy the event at your own pace.
The weekend schedule is packed with excitement, starting with a St. Jude fundraiser optional practice day on Saturday. Rider registration opens at 8 am, followed by practice sessions throughout the day. Sunday kicks off with registration at 7 am, a riders' meeting at 8:30 am, and practice laps before the thrilling races begin.
Race class fees vary, with the 250 Pro Sport/Open Pro Sport offering an AMA Pro Am purse. Payout percentages are based on the number of riders in each class, with higher turnout resulting in increased payouts. Trophy classes, A classes, and the Warrior Class offer competitive opportunities for riders of all levels.
