Kankakee County Speedway
The Kankakee County Speedway has endured multiple name changes over the decades, and believe it or not, it's location has changed as well. Â From it's birth in 1940's, with no champions on record, racing was held at the old fairgrounds at Horse's Old Fair Park, on North Indiana Ave. by the Schuyler quarry next to Bradley. Prior to that, racing was contested throughout Kankakee County as early as the 1900's.

RAIN OUT DISCLAIMER
In the event of inclement weather, the flagman will halt the races. If in the opinion of the track officials, the inclement weather is sufficient enough that we can not safely return to racing then the remainder of the event will be canceled, and a rainout will be declared. However if possible, once the rain stops, every effort will be made to complete the program in a safe and timely manner.
The program will be considered complete if four (4) or more heat races have been completed in the program and NO RAIN CHECKS will be given.
If all heat races have been completed in all divisions but the features get rained out, it is considered a complete event, and features will be locked in and run the following week. You must be registered in the week of cancellation to run in the makeup feature.
If less than four (4) heat races have been completed prior to any inclement weather or other circumstances out of our control, then rain checks will be honored at either of the next two regular programs under otherwise noted by Kankakee County Speedway officials.
Please bear in mind when buying tickets, there are absolutely NO CASH REFUNDS.Â
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
No outside food or beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are allowed in the main grandstand area.
Tailgating is permitted and encouraged before and after the races. Â Not throughout the night.
Please be respectful of the Kankakee County Fair Board and dispose of your cans, bottles, and trash.
Anyone caught bringing outside alcohol into the grandstand area will be escorted from the grounds.
